Another Shocker...

I'd have bet cash money that it was Brooke's time to go ... but, well, I guess it's a good thing I didn't.

See you around, Carly Smithson ... you've had a recording contract before, and we know you'll have one again (and a reissue of your old album, no doubt!).

  1. This is a crucial time in the ompetition. Never assume the favorites are safe anymore. Thanks to the votefortheworst web site, no one is safe. They got rid of Chris Daughtry and Melinda Doolittle (in previous seasons), they can get rid of David (either one). Only vote for your favorites.

On a side note, I'm not sure whether or not you know this but you can vote for more than one person (that is if you feel like taking the time).

  2. Oops, meant to say "competition". Crazy typos. Love your blog.

  3. Thanks for the comments! And yeah, I know that people can call in more than once, but ... well, I frankly have a bit of an issue with that, which I may address in a future entry.

I'm not taking for granted the fact that "my David" is still in the running, although the contestants have mostly been eliminated in roughly the order I expected them to be.

  4. Oh, okay. I was just checking in case you weren't aware. However, you raise an interesting point about the multiple voting. I, myself, feel that multiple voting is a bit unfair (especially when it comes to the contestants family). I've always wondered, isn't it possible for the judges to get their friends to sway votes?
Hmmm. Just something I've always wondered.

I'm interested in reading your thoughts on that issue.
